
Loretta has been defending workers’ compensation claims on behalf of employers and insurers for over 25 years. After ten years of practice, she started her own firm in January 1993. Loretta has handled all aspects of Missouri workers’ compensation cases, including both accident and occupational disease claims. She has tried and argued cases at all levels of appeal, including the Labor and Industrial Relations Commission, the Missouri Court of Appeals and the Missouri Supreme Court.
Loretta was a Council Member for the Missouri Workers’ Compensation Law Committee 2004-2005; Executive Council Member of the Missouri Bar Association in 1991, and Vice-Chair in 1996. She served as the Workers’ Compensation Committee Chair for the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis in 1993-1994 and was an Executive Council Member in 1991 for the Law Practice Management Committee. She is also a founding board member of Missouri Kids’ Chance, Inc.
Loretta is a member of the Missouri Self-Insurer’s Association, Woman Lawyers’ Association, Missouri Bar Association, Illinois Bar Association and American Bar Association. She also served on the NWCDN Board of Directors in 2009 and is a Fellow of The College of Workers' Compensation Lawyers - 2015.
Loretta has been as a moderator and lecturer for the Missouri Bar Association, Bar Association of St. Louis, Lawyers Association of St. Louis, University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law, Missouri Self Insurers’ Association, Missouri Auto Dealers Association, Council on Education in Management, Health Line Corporate Health Services, and Lorman Education Services. She has also co-authored “Arising Out of and In the Course and Scope of Employment,” for the Missouri Bar Association Continuing Legal Education Workers’ Compensation.
